We are thrilled to share the highlights of the recent 2024 Partners Spring Benefit, which took place on May 1st. This remarkable event brought together our community in a spirit of generosity and solidarity, supporting the vital work of Partners and making a profound impact on the lives of those we serve.

Held in an atmosphere of elegance and camaraderie at The Grove in Cedar Grove, NJ, the Spring Benefit featured an exciting lineup of activities designed to engage and inspire our guests. The silent auction offered something for everyone, from luxury vacations to unique collectibles, sparking friendly competition and raising crucial funds for our cause. Following the silent auction, the energy in the room escalated with our live auction with even more exciting packages such as tickets to Stephen Colbert or fabulous resort vacations. Guests eagerly vied for coveted prizes, with the excitement of live bidding creating an electric atmosphere. The generosity displayed during the live auction was truly heartwarming, reflecting the deep commitment of our supporters to our mission.

One of the most moving segments of the evening was when a survivor and past Partners client told her story. What started in a cycle of violence, her journey transformed into a story of hope and justice.

A highlight of the Partners Spring Benefit was the recognition of our four esteemed honorees. These individuals were celebrated for their outstanding contributions to our community, receiving the prestigious Partner in Hope and Partner in Justice awards. Their dedication and tireless efforts have made a significant difference, and we were honored to acknowledge their invaluable work.

Partners Spring Benefit – Awards & Acknowledgement

The Partner in Hope awards, presented to members of our community who have had an impact on the fight against domestic violence outside of the courtroom, were presented to Trish Peyser Perlmutter for her work in policy and advocacy and Rebecca Fitzhugh who has helmed the Partners Board of Trustees as Chairperson for the past several years.

The Partner in Justice Awards are given to individuals who have shown exceptional compassion and commitment to supporting those in need. Their initiatives and advocacy have provided hope and tangible assistance, embodying the very essence of what it means to be a partner in justice.

The Partner in Justice awards were bestowed upon Nexus Sea, Melissa Wangenheim, and Bud D’Avella and, whose relentless pursuit of justice and equality has brought about meaningful change. Their work in advocating for the rights and dignity of all individuals has been nothing short of inspiring, making them true champions of justice.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, donated, and volunteered to make the 2024 Spring Benefit a resounding success. Your support is the cornerstone of our efforts, and together, we are building a brighter future for our community.
