Leslie K. Brown is a change management professional providing comprehensive capacity-building and Interim Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer leadership for nonprofit organizations helping them strengthen their organizational foundation on many levels. She has over fifteen years of senior leadership experience working with staff and Boards undergoing transition and organizational change. Her passion and advocacy work has focused on healthcare access and equity, reproductive rights, children’s education, youth empowerment, low-income communities, homelessness, criminal justice reform, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). In addition to her nonprofit work, Leslie has over ten years of corporate domestic and international experience in executive management, marketing, business development, program and service development, and strategic planning. Leslie is a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow, a Trustee on the Planned Parenthood of Metro New Jersey (PPMNJ) Board, and a Montclair Civil Rights Commissioner and Chair of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee. Leslie holds a BS in Pre-Medical, Biology from American University, an MPH from the University of Illinois School of Public Health, and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth Graduate School of Business, where she received the Dean’s Award for Distinction, and the Arthur Turnbull Alumni Award for Public Service. She is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker.
